5:40 AM – It is always nice to start a day by pleasantly easing into the shock of our system.

The system is a shock to the system. I am determined to make something of this sinking ship we call life.
From a certain perspective, life is a sinking ship.

We are all on our personal Titanics, fighting the vertiginous descent into depths we cannot fathom; your head would explode if the growing pressure of the deep didn’t hold it all together. Those who go deepest fear the opposite. We all do. We know the deeper we dive, the higher the chance of a violent implosion.

What to do?

I would be the fifth guy in the string quartet, playing a kazoo.
